Our Story
It begins in early 2020 as many stories do…
At home in the newly quiet nights, a father and son set with their hearts on an adventure far from home. In these quiet moments a story was building that moved beyond space and time to become not just a story to be told to each other but one to be shared with all.
Apple Face was born as a bedtime story, in which Andrew and Milo imagined a boy, Foster (Fos), who befriends an alien and joins the other-worldly “Space Squad.” This special group of aliens patrols the universe, solving problems and helping others, all with Fos’s help.
Fos gets to experience nebulas and black holes up close, while learning about ploonets, supernovas and the moon’s Sea of Tranquility. He also has the chance to explore parts of space never seen by human eyes. He meets some fascinating characters along the way: Banana Breath, the scientist; Pancake Feet, the mechanic; Blueberry Butt, the helper; Clumsy, the good-hearted but mistake-prone sidekick; and, of course, Apple Face, the explorer and leader.
As Fos soon discovers, some of the troubles found in space mirror those on our own planet. A battle between truth and lies takes center stage. Like some in our own world, the wicked Overlord stands against science and against knowledge. His purpose is to make all residents of the universe believe his dangerous falsehoods. The Space Squad must fight the Overlord’s efforts while they still can.
